Guide: Taric the Twinsies Slayer
I have a 70.6% win rate with Taric right now, idk if this proves any thing but I see solomid guides do this so #YOLO
Core: Ruby Sightstone, level one boots, Twin Shadows, Shurelya’s
I usually never finish my boots until 40 minutes into the game, I prefer finishing my core build/extra wards instead of my movement speed.
1. (start) faerie charm + 4 green wards + 1 pot + cookie + 60 second ward OR faerie charm + 2 green wards + 1 pink + 2 red pots
I would get pink ward (when starting) as Taric 70% of the time, if they have a passive lane with a Soraka/Sona, etc, pink wards in the lane can deny the enemy’s adc heavily because they are unable to step out to cs without getting stunned by a Taric so there’s nothing they can do when a Taric is camping the bush.
4 green wards if I wanted to stay in lane longer.
2. Rush Philosopher’s Stone for the g/5 and the regen
3. Either rush the Ruby Sightstone then the Kage’s OR get the Sightstone buy the Kage’s then turn the Sightstone into a Ruby Sightstone THEN I get my boots. Ain’t no body got time for boots.
4. I usually turn the Kage’s into a Twin Shadows because it has better utility than the Shurelya’s imo. Afterwards, I buy da Shurelya’s
SOOOO…WHY NOT AEGIS/SHURELYA’S YOU SAY??
The standard season two Aegis/Shurelya’s build was great, but for season three it’s so fucken expensive (RIP HOG). Twins/Shurelya’s a great investment for Taric, since he’s naturally tanky he doesn’t need the Aegis, sure the rest of your team might need it, but fuck the police. Just my opinion, if they build works for you go right ahead woo.
Twinsies are OP:
Movement speed, AP, MR, movement speed
It’s cheap, you can build Kage’s into it.
It give Baron/Dragon control when you’re wondering where they are.
I’ve caught numerous people over the wall.
It helps when you have a team that loves to face check 24/7.
I’m not sure if I’m 100% a reliable source, but I’m climbing elo with Taric and this build.
